1879/8 5C PR66 Cameo PCGS. Breen-2514, "Very Scarce." One of four distinct date varieties for the 1879 proof Shield nickel, according to Mr. Breen. This Premium Gem is well struck and shows the overdate feature very nicely. Free of distractions and showing a pleasing, if mild cameo contrast on both sides.
