1881 5C PR67+ Cameo NGC. NGC has certified only a single Ultra Cameo 1881 proof Shield nickel, graded PR66. This PR67+ Cameo is finer. The 1881 proof is rare this high grade. The present coin displays brilliant, starkly contrasted devices and liquidlike mirroring in the fields. A loupe reveals some planchet roughness in the fields that was not fully smoothed out by the polished dies.
