Brilliant PR67 1881 Shield Nickel
1881 5C PR67 PCGS. The second 8 in the date is recut, and the outline of the ball ornament is incomplete near the first 8 in the date. This piece is fully struck, with beautiful olive coloration on both sides and near-pristine surfaces disturbed only by a few tiny planchet flaws on the reverse and a wispy lintmark on the lower left obverse, just beneath the left arrowhead.
