Gleaming PR66 Ultra Cameo 1882 Nickel
1882 5C PR66 Ultra Cameo NGC. Though many proof Shield nickels invite debate over whether or not they can properly be called Cameo, there is no such controversy around this Ultra Cameo Premium Gem. Both sides have outstanding contrast, particularly the obverse, and the mirrors are strong. A few small disturbances are noted near the rims, likely the result of improper planchet preparation.
