Description

1883 5C PR66 PCGS. A lovely example of this always popular final issue of the type, seemingly struck from new dies, with fully detailed devices and exceptionally smooth fields. The reflective olive-gray tinted surfaces are undisturbed aside from a small mark on the upper part of the large number 5, on the reverse, and a minor planchet flaw (as struck) also on the reverse, located specifically between two of the left reverse stars.
