Description
1883 5C Shield PR66 Cameo PCGS. A razor-sharp Gem with bright, untoned surfaces and deeply reflective fields. The devices are nicely frosted and sharply contrasted, creating a lovely black and white effect. The coin seems unmarked, but there is a small planchet flaw (as struck) on the reverse, within the lower loop of the large number 5. A splendidly attractive and technically impressive specimen.
