1883 5C Shield PR67 Cameo PCGS. While not a rare date in an absolute sense, this final-year proof has a low certified population as a Cameo. The otherwise brilliant surfaces yield to delicate mint frost over the devices. Both sides are essentially untoned, and distracting hairlines are non-existent. NGC and PCGS combined report just two coins in PR67 Cameo, with none finer and none designated Deep Cameo (4/02).Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 276Z, PCGS# 83838, Greysheet# 2984)
