1865 Three Cent Nickel, PR65 Cameo
Sharply Struck
1865 3CN PR65 Cameo NGC. From a tiny mintage of only 500
pieces, the 1865 proof three cent nickel is quite rare with the
PR65 Cameo designation. The present coin exhibits razor-sharp
striking details on all design elements. The frosty devices
contrast boldly with the brilliant reflective fields to produce the
coveted Cameo effect. Census: 10 in 65 Cameo, 19 finer
