Splendid PR66 Cameo 1867 Three Cent Nickel
1867 3CN PR66 Cameo PCGS. While the third-year 1867 is certainly not the rarest date in the proof Three Cent Nickel series, examples with a cameo finish are elusive in today's market. Even so, we are offering two survivors at the PR66 Cameo grade level in this sale. The present PCGS-certified example is also untoned with smooth, carefully preserved surfaces. The cameo contrast is unmistakable, and the eye appeal is as impressive as one would expect for the assigned grade. Population: 4 in 66 Cameo, none are finer (9/02).Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 275M, PCGS# 83763, Greysheet# 2797)
