1874 3CN PR66+ Cameo NGC. CAC. The official mintage of 700 proofs does not include those sold in minor proof sets, increasing the actual mintage to perhaps double that number. Collectible in grades through Gem proof, contrasted Premium Gems are scarce and they are especially challenging with the Plus designation. This high-end example is brilliant and reflective on both sides with strong definition on the frosty motifs. Few are finer. Census: 41 in 66 Cameo (8 in 66+ Cameo, 2 in 66 ★ Cameo), 5 finer. CAC: 24 in 66, none finer (4/16).
