Clear Contrast
1875 3CN PR66 Cameo NGC. There are two distinct periods of
proof three cent nickel production, the low-output time of 1877 and
before and the high-output stretch of 1878 and after. This Premium
Gem Cameo Proof of an earlier date has gleaming nickel-white
surfaces and clear contrast with only a few small spots on the
obverse. Census: 7 in 66 Cameo (1 in 66 ★ Cameo), 0 finer
