Description

1875 Three Cent Nickel, PR66 Cameo
Tied as one of The Finest-Graded Examples

1875 3CN PR66 Cameo PCGS. Fully struck with exceptionally stark contrast revealed between the lovely, frosted devices and the watery, reflective fields. Die polish lines in the fields only serve to increase the coin's bright sheen. Essentially untoned with a pleasingly brilliant appearance. A small area of discoloration on Liberty's chin, and a shallow V-shaped mark on the lower portion of the neck are the only possible barriers to an even finer grade assessment. Population: 6 in 66 Cameo, 0 finer (4/14).(Registry values: P3)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22NV, PCGS# 83771, Greysheet# 2821)

Weight: 1.94 grams

Metal: 75% Copper, 25% Nickel
