1876 3CN PR65 Deep Cameo PCGS. Even though 1,150 proofs were struck in this year, there is a pronounced lack of cameo coinage. PCGS has certified only five Deep Cameos at this grade level, and none higher (2/10). Brilliant throughout, the fields are deeply mirrored, and the wreath and portrait display thick mint frost that gives the coin substantial contrast.Ex: Baltimore Signature (Heritage, 7/2003), lot 5937, which realized $1,437.50.(Registry values: P2)
