1877 3CN PR66 NGC. The first and lowest-mintage of the three proof-only three cent nickel dates, offered here as a delightful Premium Gem specimen. Both sides are mildly contrasted beneath a blanket of mustard-gold and pale nickel-blue patina. Delicate frost over the devices gives a suggestion of contrast.
