1881 3CN PR68 NGC. A scintillating Superb Gem proof, this remarkable piece has deeply mirrored nickel-gray surfaces with exceptionally sharp design details on both sides. The devices have a hint of mint frost, although insufficient to garner a Cameo designation. While proofs of this date are relatively plentiful, few can match the quality of this specimen.
