1882 3CN PR68 Cameo PCGS. Ex: Bruce Scher-R. Iskowitz. The
year 1882 saw a combined production of only 25,300 three cent
nickels, including 3,100 proofs. Examples of this quality are
extremely rare. Pristine surfaces remain nearly brilliant with a
light layer of rose patina and deep mirroring in the unmarked
fields. A layer of frost blankets the devices, furthering the
contrast. Remarkably clean and incredibly appealing. Population: 5
