1883 Three Cent Nickel PR67 Cameo PCGS. The 1883 three cent piece is seldom encountered in its business strike format, as only 4,000 pieces were minted. This circumstance puts substantial pressure on the large proof mintage of 6,609 pieces. The present coin is a magnificent Superb Gem proof Cameo example, with bold contrast and the slightest wisp of gray-blue toning.
