1884 3CN JD-1, R.1, PR68 Cameo PCGS. Attractive
mercurial-silver luster adorns this piece accompanied by some
lighter red hues. The strike is brilliant with no weakness of note,
as expected for a Superb Gem example and there are no marks. A
minor planchet flaw is seen below the OF. PCGS has reported no
finer examples and NGC reports just one at PR68+ Cameo; while there
are Deep Cameo examples none have been reported finer than the
present coin (4/26).Coin Index Numbers: (Variety PCGS# 102618, Base PCGS# 83780)
