Rare 1857 Type Two Three Cent, PR63
1857 3CS PR63 NGC. Both sides of this scarce Type Two proof three cent silver piece have light gray patina over mirrored fields and reflective devices. A trace of gold toning is evident on each side. While all five years of Type Two coins are known in proof, every date is rare in that format.
