Description

1858 Trime, PR64+ Cameo
Landmark Proof Issue

1858 3CS PR64+ Cameo PCGS. Proof sets were offered commercially for the first time in 1858, and the estimated mintage of proof trimes was only 210 pieces. Sharply detailed in most areas, this high-end Choice specimen shows a little weakness in the lower outlines of the star. The deeply mirrored fields contrast boldly with the frosty devices and a few hints of champagne-gold and lavender toning accent the surfaces. Population: 1 in 64+ Cameo, 2 finer (1/12).(Registry values: P3)
