1859 Three Cent Silver--Improperly Cleaned--NGC. Proof. The first year of the new design showing one line bordering the six-pointed star. Aqua-blue and aqua-green patina in the obverse fields frames the golden-brown star while the latter color dominates the reverse, which is accented with cobalt-blue. Exquisitely struck.
