1861 3CS PR66 PCGS. Most proof 1861 three cent silver pieces are certified in non-Cameo grades and PR65 or lower levels. This Premium Gem non-Cameo is a condition rarity, and only a handful of finer pieces are known. Sharp definition spans the lustrous devices, while the reflective fields display gold, rose, blue, and lavender hues over each side. A dusky overlay of gunmetal gray emerges when the coin is angle away from the light. Population: 11 in 66 (1 in 66+), 6 finer (8/25).(Registry values: N2998)
