1862 Three Cent Silver, PR66 Cameo
Among the Finest Certified
1862 3CS PR66 Cameo NGC. CAC. The mintage of proof three
cent silver coins in 1862 totaled a mere 550 pieces, and the issue
is extremely rare at the PR66 Cameo level today. Few survivors can
compete with the quality of the coin offered here. The design
elements are fully brought up and contrast starkly with the liquid,
mirrored fields. Only four coins have been certified In PR66 Cameo
by NGC and PCGS combined, with none finer (6/10).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 27C9, PCGS# 83711, GSID# 3674)
