1868 Three Cent Silver, PR66 Cameo
Only Two Finer Coins at PCGS

1868 3CS PR66 Cameo PCGS. A small proof mintage of 600 three cent silver pieces was accomplished in 1868, to accompany a paltry business-strike production of 3,500 pieces. This delightful Premium Gem exhibits sharply detailed, frosty design elements that contrast boldly with the deeply reflective fields. The well-preserved surfaces are enhanced by hints of pale gold toning, with terrific eye appeal. Population: 12 in 66 (1 in 66+) Cameo, 2 finer (1/17).(Registry values: N1793)
