One of Finest Certified 1868 Proof Trimes
1868 3CS PR67 NGC. Excellent definition is noted on the design elements of this Superb Gem proof. Luminous surfaces are overlain with iridescent medium intensity cobalt-blue toning imbued with whispers of purple on the obverse, and cobalt-blue patina around the reverse borders, framing purplish centers. Both sides are impeccably preserved. A total of four pieces have been certified by NGC and PCGS, with none finer (3/06).(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 27CE, PCGS# 3718, Greysheet# 3691)
