Description

Superb 1869 Three Cent Silver, An Originally Toned Specimen

1869 3CS PR67 NGC. Proponents of originality will certainly appreciate this carefully preserved Trime. The otherwise antique-copper toning scheme yields to vibrant golden-blue and crimson undertones as the coin turns into the light. Fully impressed, both sides shimmer with glassy features that are devoid of grade-limiting blemishes. One of only 5,100 Three Cent Silvers produced this year, and desirable as such. Population: 7 in 67, 0 finer (9/01).
