1872 3CS PR65 NGC. The last three cent silver issue struck both as a business strike and proof, the 1872 saw nearly equal mintages between the two at 1,000 "circulating" coins to 950 proof specimens. This gorgeously toned specimen has champagne, gold, green, and blue hues enriching each side and bold underlying reflectivity. Census: 41 in 65 (1 in 65+), 26 finer (11/12).
