Conditionally Scarce 1872 Three Cent Silver PR66 Cameo
1872 3CS PR66 Cameo NGC. Sharply struck with glassy mirrored fields and mildly frosted devices that together create an attractive degree of cameo contrast on both sides. This exceptionally well preserved piece is free of marks, except for a few tiny planchet flaws on each side. Faint die striations (as struck) are noted on the reverse. A conditionally scarce offering at the current grade level. Census: 3 in 66 Cameo, 1 finer (8/07). (Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 27CH, PCGS# 83723, GSID# 3704)
