1872 3CS PR67 NGC. The series-low mintage of 1,000
circulation strike makes the 1872 one of the keys to the three cent
silver series and puts serious date pressure on high-end proofs
like the present coin (another 950 proofs were made for
collectors). Aside from its nearly unsurpassed technical quality,
this Superb Gem is appreciable for its marvelous multicolor toning
