1872 3CS PR67 NGC. This was the final year business strike three cent silver pieces were struck, and those are seldom available as only 1,000 pieces were produced. However, 950 proofs were minted, and this is among the finest. Each side displays mottled sea-green and pinkish-rose toning with brightly reflective mirrors evident in the fields. Only seven others have been so graded by NGC, none are finer at that service (8/13).(Registry values: N4719)
