Description
1873 3CS PR63 PCGS. This proof-only three cent silver dated 1873 could be a fitting memento of the "Crime of '73," which legislated it, among other denominations, out of existence. The copper-gold surfaces show a bold strike and good eye appeal, despite a few light field hairlines.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 27CJ, PCGS# 3724, GSID# 3706)
