Description
1873 3CS PR64 PCGS. Lightly toned and remarkably well-struck, this beautifully mirrored final-year proof was one the scant proof-only production of 600 pieces. The flashy fields surround sharp, lightly frosted devices for outstanding eye appeal. A few light hairlines mingle with die polish lines, visible only under a strong loupe. Choice in all regards, the coin is encapsulated in a first-generation "rattler" PCGS holder and seems destined for an even finer grade.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 27CJ, PCGS# 3724, GSID# 3706)
