1873 Three Cent Silver, PR65 Cameo
Colorfully Toned Final-Year Proof
1873 3CS PR65 Cameo PCGS. The three cent silver coin was
produced for the last time in 1873, and only proofs were struck.
Moreover, all examples employ the Closed 3 date type. Cameo
examples are scarce in Gem and better grades. This piece displays
rich ocean-blue, green, gold, and violet toning over reflective
fields and sharp, satiny devices. Eye appeal is excellent for the
