Superb Proof 1873 Three Cent Silver
1873 3CS PR67 NGC. Final year of issue and a proof-only issue whose mintage was limited to a mere 600 pieces. The obverse shows deep rose colored toning in the center and is surrounded by cobalt-blue at the margin. The reverse, on the other hand, has a large (relatively speaking) brilliant center that is surrounded by thin concentric rings of rose and cobalt. A splendid example of this popular issue.
