1873 Trade Dollar, PR64+ Deep Cameo
Finest Certified as Deep Cameo
1873 T$1 PR64+ Deep Cameo PCGS. The first year Trade dollar
is a great rarity in Deep Cameo format. In fact, as of (11/21), NGC
has yet to certify any specimens as Ultra Cameo, the only such
dates in the series save for the non-collectible 1884 and 1885. The
PCGS Population shows a total of three Deep Cameo coins, one each
graded as PR62, PR63, and PR64+. Thus, the present lot is the
single finest certified as Deep Cameo or Ultra Cameo. The devices
are frosty and the fields are prominently mirrored. Light rose-red
toning visits the borders. One narrow diagonal flan flaw, as made,
noted through Liberty's raised knee.(Registry values: P3)Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 97053, Greysheet# 7391)
