Description

1873 T$1 PR64 NGC. At the end of the Seated dollar series, a replacement appeared in the form of the trade dollar, although this design was not intended for actual circulation. Of course, contemporary collectors still desired proof examples for their cabinets. Although just shy of Gem quality, this is a delightful proof with lovely heather, lilac, and blue toning, deeper near the borders.
