Just 510 Proofs Struck

1877 T$1 PR64 PCGS. CAC. This low-mintage issue of 510 proofs claims the smallest production total in the series after the clandestine 1884 and 1885. Speckled blue and gold tones drape the obverse and leave the reverse mainly brilliant. Reflective surfaces show bold field-device contrast, though no Cameo designation has been formally awarded. Housed in a first generation PCGS holder with a green CAC approval sticker. Population: 41 in 64, 27 finer. CAC: 2 in 64, 10 finer (8/16).(Registry values: N2998)
