1877 Trade Dollar, Rainbow-Toned PR65
1877 T$1 PR65 PCGS. CAC. A mere 510 proofs were made of this
date, but surprisingly many still exist, although relatively few
have been certified in this grade or higher. Among those, the ones
with nice eye appeal bring a premium over many lacking attractive
surfaces, and this colorful example must rank near the top of the
list of winners. Rich, fulfilling color appears everywhere on its
deeply reflective surfaces. A two-sided toned Gem -- sure to
attract Trade dollar specialists and collectors of exceptionally
