    1878 T$1 PR63 PCGS. A mintage of 900 proofs was the total Trade dollar production at Philadelphia in 1878, although the branch mints issued circulation strikes into the first part of the year. This Select proof 1878 Trade dollar is fully struck and reflective with attractive original toning. Lavender-gold interiors cede to blue, violet, and mint-green peripheral hues.(Registry values: N1793)
