Appealing Select Proof 1880 Trade Dollar

1880 T$1 PR63 PCGS. Not only was the 1880 Trade dollar the highest-mintage proof issue for its series, its production of 1,987 specimens was also the highest for any dollar-denominated proof issue until the silver-clad Eisenhower dollars of 1971. This modestly hairlined example is well-defined with strong mirrors beneath blue-green, gold-rose, and silver-slate patina.(Registry values: N1793)
