Well Struck 1880 Trade Dollar, PR64
1880 T$1 PR64 PCGS. The 1880 proof-only trade dollar comes from a mintage approaching 2,000 pieces, the highest for the proof series. It is fairly available through the near-Gem level, and even Gem specimens can be acquired without too much difficulty. Wisps of light grayish-tan color complement the well struck devices on this PR64 representative. Minor handling marks deny Gem status.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 27YS, PCGS# 7060, GSID# 7410)
