Amazing PR63 Cameo 1881 Trade Dollar
1881 T$1 PR63 Cameo PCGS. A faint coat of champagne toning is seen over the obverse and reverse of this lovely cameo proof with its deep mirrors that frame the lustrous devices. This issue is the fourth of six proof-only dates from 1878 to 1883 that conclude the contemporaneous Trade dollar series. Two other clandestine issues, the 1884 and 1885, were struck at a later date and are seldom included in Trade dollar sets.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 27YT, PCGS# 87061, GSID# 7414)
