Near-Gem Proof 1881 Trade Dollar
1881 T$1 PR64 NGC. Great depths of mirrored reflectivity are observed in the obverse and reverse fields. The central devices are richly frosted, allowing for noteworthy cameo contrast. Freckles of russet patina are noted on each side, primarily near the peripheries. A late proof-only issue in the Trade dollar series.
