Description

1881 T$1 PR65 PCGS. Pale heather and iridescent toning grace both sides of this delightful Gem proof. Mintages of the proof-only trade dollars from 1881 to 1883 were each slightly lower than the similarly dated Morgan dollars in proof. Pieces were sold individually, as well as part of complete proof sets, although some collectors preferred proof sets that only included the Morgan dollar.
