Description

Lightly Toned Cameo Proof 1883 Trade Dollar

1883 T$1 PR64 Cameo PCGS. Toned with dark peripheral gold on the right side of the obverse and reverse with the balance a touch hazy with hints of gold over the frosted devices. Sharp and attractive for the collector who needs this proof only date. Identifiable by a tiny lint mark in the field before Liberty's face, below the nearby star, and also by a minute tick on her dress below her left knee. A pleasing collector coin for the grade, with a few faint hairlines that kept this one from a Gem grade. Population: 20 in 64, 19 finer (12/05).
