    Description

Deeply Toned Gem Proof 1883 Trade Dollar

1883 T$1 PR65 PCGS. Only 979 pieces were struck of the 1883 Trade dollar, all proofs. It stands as the final collectible year in the series and one of the more difficult issues to locate. This is a deeply mirrored example whose reflectivity is only marginally diminished by the deep moss-green and golden toning that covers both sides. There are no obvious contact marks that could be considered distracting or merit individual mention. Population: 47 in 65, 16 finer (4/03).

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 27YV, PCGS# 7063)

    Weight: 27.22 grams

    Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
