    1875 Twenty Cent, PR63 Cameo
    Elusive CAC-Endorsed Example

1875 20C PR63 Cameo PCGS. CAC. BF-1, R.1. Blue, violet, and amber toning appears in the margins of this Select Cameo proof, leaving the interiors with delicate champagne warmth. The devices are sharply brought up throughout, yielding excellent field-motif contrast on each side. The fields are deeply mirrored with minimal hairlines. The 1875 proof is popular as a type coin, although CAC-approved Cameo examples are rarely seen. Population: 29 in 63 Cameo, 38 finer. CAC: 6 in 63, 11 finer (5/21).
