    1875 20C PR63 NGC. BF-1, R.1. The right side of the 1 is right of the shield point. This die was used to strike the majority of both proofs and circulation strikes during the denomination's first year. The Mint produced 38,500 examples for commercial use and 1,200 specimens for collectors. This is a lightly toned Select proof with small, undistracting contact marks. Both sides are needle-sharp, as expected.(Registry values: N1793)
