    1875 Twenty Cent, PR64 Cameo
    Profound Mirrors

1875 20C PR64 Cameo NGC. BF-1, R.1. The usual proof die pair with the shield point aligned with the left edge of the 1. About 90% of the 1,200 twenty cent proofs struck in 1875 were from this die marriage. The surfaces on each side of this PR64 Cameo representative are entirely brilliant with profound mirroring in the fields. Die polish lines are seen throughout. The sole post-Mint flaw is a thin mark left of Liberty's head. Census: 13 in 64 Cameo, 29 finer, including Ultra Cameo (9/17).(Registry values: N2998)
