Description

Deeply Mirrored 1875 Twenty Cent Piece, PR64 Cameo
With Interesting Scribe Lines at the Top of the Obverse

1875 20C PR64 Cameo PCGS. CAC. This is an interesting proof example of this curious denomination. The fields are highly reflective, as usually seen on proofs, and semicircular, scribe lines are seen at the top of the obverse. Most of each side is brilliant with a slight accent of reddish patina around the margins. The only grade-limiting mark is located in the field between the eagle's right (facing) leg and wing. Soft mint frost is seen over the devices which contrasts sharply against the depth of mirrored reflectivity in the fields.(Registry values: N2998)
